Senior crew of the dash have to be moved over to the ATR which requires a lot of expense and training.<br /><br />2. The RML Fa...It is not an indication of that at all. The RML Facility in Nelson provided heavy maintenance to both Q300 and ATR aircraft, both will be relocated to CHC if this goes ahead. Simply 'mothballing' the Q300 is profoundly more complex that you've made it out to be, and profoundly more costly, pilot retraining to begin with would be huge.
