Island Air Services - A Sunair Subsidiary

 

In August 1989 Island Air Safaris, which operated an air service from Tauranga to Motiti Island, was advertised as being for sale. 

Sunair bought the service which it operated as Island Air Services. Sunair also bought Cessna P206 Super Skylane ZK-DRD (c/n P206-0135) which was registered to Island Air Services on the 28th of February 1990.

The operation flew under that name during the 1989/1990 summer but by mid 1990 it operated under Sunair's own name.
