Jetstar is ramping up domestic services within New Zealand. Starting on the 1st of December 2025 Jetstar will start daily flights between Christchurch to Hamilton. The flights will leave Christchurch at 8.10am to arrive into Hamilton at 9.25am. The return flight will depart Hamilton at 10.00am to arrive in Christchurch at 11.15am.
Jetstar is also increasing its frequency of flights between Christchurch and Auckland with the frequency increasing from up to eight flights a day to eleven flights a day. Flights between Auckland and Dunedin will increase from seven flights per week to 10 flights per week between the 26th of October through to the 17th of May 2026.
They're also going to have a ninth aircraft based in NZ up in Auckland. But with the addition of the JQ Asia fleet, its no wonder they're expanding hard, its like another 10 aircraft added to the fleet and all set to be up in air by end of year.
