According to Flightaware Coral Sun Airway's Beech Super King Air P2-ALC was supposed to be flying to Taupo today... it didn't but it has been flying a little bit over the last few days. It flew into Auckland on 2 August 2020 and sat at Ardmore on maintenance for some months before moving to Hamilton. Coral Sun Airways operates out of Tarawa in Kiribati.

Now, as a little quiz, which airlines have operated a Beech Super King Air on scheduled services in New Zealand?
Air Wanganui did some flights for Originair a few years back. Brilliant aircraft, did a few NPL-NSN flights on MDC. Take it over the Jetstream anyday :)
ReplyDeleteYeah Air Whanganui has a nice fleet. Like spotting them
DeleteI'm Pretty sure Air2There used to have a King Air 200 but idk if they used it for Air Ambulance Service's or scheduled
ReplyDeletePacifica Airlines ZK CGS around April 1987
ReplyDeleteExcellent... they are 3 operators I thought of as well
ReplyDeleteIt did the trip to Taupo today. It is apparently leaving soon after having avionics work done to it.
