Fox Glacier

On the 13th of January 2014 Skydive Fox Glacier's Fletcher ZK-DJE was on jump duties

At Fox/Franz Heli Services on 13 January 2014 Aerospatiale AS350 Ecureuil ZK-HBI (above) and Hughes 369D ZK-HNJ (below) were waiting customers.

Down at Glacier Helicopters there were three Aerospatiale AS350 Ecureuils - ZK-HGV was about to do a trip for some climbers or trampers while ZK-HJE and HNQ were busy with tourists...

 

On the following day, the 14th of January 2014, I managed a desperation shot of Mount Helicopters' Hughes 369E ZK-HCC

Manapouri to Fox

After a night of heavy rain the sun was out on Fly Fiordland's Cessna 172 ZK-ETK at Manapouri on 12 January 2014

The only other aircraft visible at Manapouri was Jabiru ZK-KIA

It was absolutely hosing down at Queenstown and wet enough at Wanaka... hoever at Wanaka on 12 January 2014 was Cessna 180 ZK-BKG...

...Cessna 172 ZK-DHV...

...Cessna A152 ZK-MDO,,. 

and Tecnam P2002 Sierra ZK-WBF

After waiting an hour to get past the slip on the Haast Pass I caught Greenstone Helicopter's Robinson R44 ZK-HCP for the second time within a few days, this time at its Haast village base on 12 January 2014

Minaret Station's Cessna 206 ZK-DWV holds the honour of being the first aircraft that I have photographed in the Haast strip...

The Haast terminal which has been awaiting a scheduled air service since West Coast Airways stopped flying to Haast in 1967

Based in Milford Sound is Milford Helicopters which operates two Squirrels... While there I had the opportunity to fly with Milford Helicopters in the AMAZING country they call home on 10 January 2014...
