Colourful New Zealand Skies - Wellington 1992

Bargeld01 took these great overviews of the airline movements in Wellington in 1992. They certainly indicate a more colourful range of aircraft and colour schemes. 19 years on the aircraft flying our skies don't seem as interesting and they ceratinly don't look as colourful. What do you think???

  3. Those were great days, I feel so sorry for today's spotters having to put up with endless A320s. By the way the tunnel between the Domestic and International terminals (you can see the roof of it in the last pic) was a brilliant place to stand and watch. Great pictures, thank you!

  4. My first international flight was WLG-BNE in 1992 on a NZ 762 and return on a QF 763 (the one with the split F and and J cabin). Great pics - thanks for sharing :)
