Kaikohe - Index of Posts

Kaikohe was one of NAC’s early destinations that saw Electras, Dominies Lodestars and DC-3s serving the mid-North town. When NAC withdrew its DC-3s Kaikohe lost its NAC service and over the following years a number of other operators tried to offer the town a service. It was Kerikeri, however, that was to become the airport for the mid-North. Recording the history of operators through Kaikohe is a long term project and I am still in the process of gathering material.
