JGA's 8th airline

POST UPDATED MARCH 2025

Piper Navajo ZK-JGA has been operated by more airlines than most... Since this post was written it has been used by 9 operators on passenger services...

It arrived in the country as VH-TRP in 1985 as seen here at Christchurch on 16 October.

It then went into service with Alexandra-based Goldfields Air. Photographed at Christchurch on 9 April 1986.

It then was sold to Greymouth based Coast Air. Photographed at Christchurch on 4 April 1988

Air Nelson was the next airline to operate JGA. Photographed at Oamaru on 17 October 1990

It then went to Blenheim-based Air Marlborough. Photographed at Woodbourne on  5 December 1996

After that it did charter and air ambulance work for Air Manawatu. Photographed at Gisborne on 2 December 2009

It was with short-lived North Shore Air. Photographed at Tauranga on  28 September 2015

It was used by Sunair for a short time. Photographed at Tauranga on 13 March 2016

Next it went to Flight Hauraki. Photographed at Ardmore on 24 March 2017.

Finally it went to Air Auckland as seen at Tauranga on 4 April 2019 while being leased to Sunair... It carried small titles on the left hand side...
