This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Air Chathams' Latest Convair...
Spotted at Auckland today, 2 December 2016, was Air Chatham's 'newest' Convair 580 ZK-KFL. The ex-Air Freight (NZ) Convair remains in all freighter configuration
That would make Air Chathams having 4 Convairs - 2 freight only and 2 passenger/freight. Correct?
ReplyDelete1 full freighter, 1 combi, 2 passenger.
DeleteWill that sufficient for their current freight/passenger (excluding the Saab, Metroliner & DC3) requirements?
DeleteAtleast she didn't have to travel far for her new owner 😂😂😂. Hope they paint her in the Air Chathams livery
ReplyDeleteI understand it will be run for a while as a freighter and then become a hangar queen supporting the rest of the fleet
ReplyDeleteCIB is the hangar queen, although she is nice and Shiney with new paint job.
