I have just finished reading Flying the Knife Edge: New Guinea Bush Pilot by Gisborne-born Matt McLaughlin who now flies for Cathay Pacific. While not a book not so much about New Zealand aviation it is a easy, can't put it down book. It can easily be purchased on line.
