This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Auckland Plane Spotting - 1
On the 30th of December 2018 I had a day of plane spotting at Auckland...
I was delighted to get Air New Zealand's three new Airbus 321s...
I have flown on ZK-NNA AKL/MEL/AKL in Nov 18 and these A321neo's are diffidently configured to the leisure market as they are using Airbus's Cabin Flex configuration.
Tried the 74cm pitch seats which was an interesting experience. Air NZ is are using their new slim seats, which are comfortable and have reasonable leg room for 74 and 76cm pitch seats. The only draw back to the 74cm pitch seats, the IFE screen is about 18ins from your face.
No problems with the 83cm seats in space, IFE screen viewing and seat comfort due to the extra seat width especially in the middle seat.
