Crossing the Tasman

Heading across the Tasman at present is Golden Bay Air's Piper PA34 Seneca ZK-ZAG. The aircraft flew Nelson-Motueka-Ardmore-Kerikeri-Norfolk Island yesterday and today flew from Norfolk Island to Lord Howe Island and on to the Gold Coast and Goulburn.

Piper Pa34-220T Seneca III, ZK-ZAG (c/n 34-8333002) was added to the Golden Bay Air fleet in June 2011 which coincided with the establishment of an instrument approach at Takaka. The arrival of the Seneca enabled Golden Bay Air to operate IFR services on its main Takaka-Wellington route.

With the addition of a Britten Norman Islander (ZK-EVO) to the airline's fleet it looks as if Golden Bay Air have now sold the Seneca.
