How many Saab freighter's did Air Chathams receive?
ReplyDeleteTwo, CIW and CIX which is not airborne yet... CIT is the passenger one and its entry into service is very close
DeleteThere was supposed to be a third freighter but it suffered a battery fire incident when in it's final service for Pel Air. It was parted out, engines, props, flight controls, doors, cockpit windows, avionics, controls, etc exported to NZ. The fuselage was removed by road. I flew on these Saabs in Australia many years ago in the past prior to cargo conversion.
