Something I missed, Air New Zealand's newest ATR 72-600, ZK-MZH, entered service on the 25th of September. It's first day of operations with Air New Zealand saw it fly from Christchurch to Wellington as NZ5336 and the return NZ5343 on the Thursday morning. In the afternoon it flew NZ5822 to Wellington before flying a Wellington to Hamilton return as NZ5822 northbound and NZ5811 southbound before overnighting in Wellington.
ZK-MZH takes Air New Zealand's ATR 72-600 fleet to 31.
ZK-MZH had arrived in the country on the 9th of September 2025 after a ferry flight from Toulouse (France) via Heraklion (Crete, Greece), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Muscat (Oman), Hyderabad (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia), Darwin, Brisbane and into Christchurch.
