Profile Updated - NAC at GMN

 

Initially NAC overflew Greymouth but when Hokitika's Southside aerodrome was closed to Dominie aircraft de Havilland Fox Moths were used to operate the entire West Coast service from Westport to Okuru until the current Hokitika airport was opened.

Some additional issues of the Greymouth Evening Star have recently added to Papers Past and I have updated my profile on NAC's air service to Greymouth which operated from August 1948 to December 1951.
