Sadly my trip home and visit to my home airport was marred by this ridiculous fence. It extends to beyond the old control tower and with the narrow gap between the wires means its impossible to get any photos when the Q300 taxis in. Hokitika has a rich history of the locals being interested in their airport and visiting aircraft to their airport. This is just a nonsense - OSH and security gone mad!
