This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. The Colours of Metros in Hokitika - 5
From the 21st of May 1991 the Air Nelson's maroon and silver colour scheme began to replaced be the teal and blue of Air New Zealand as the parent company brought the Air Nelson and Eagle Air fleet under the Air New Zealand Link banner. Air Nelson's Saab 340 ZK-NSM was the first in fleet to adopt the new scheme and over the next months the fleet was gradually repainted.
