Arriving into Auckland today was Sounds Air's new Pilatus PC-12 VH-KWO earmarked for the Wellington-Westport service. I'm really looking forward to checking it out...

ReplyDeleteInteresting. All of SoundsAir's media to date has indicated the acquired aircraft would be PC-12/47E aircraft. But KWO is an older /45. I guess price is the driving force but I would have thought the extra performance and takeoff weight would have been a significant advantage for the Sounds operation.
