Boeing, Boeing, Gone! # 1



Today Air New Zealand operated its final flight with the Boeing 737... Boeing 737-300 ZK-NGI positioned backed to Christchurch as flight NZ 1737... 

Over the next few weeks I'll post some of my photos and archival material of the Boeing 737 in NAC and Air New Zealand service. 

But for now a final salute to NGI as she departs Air New Zealand service from Auckland on 21 September 2015.

    Good bye 737. Great 47 years of serving New Zealand. Now the only classic left are the 767s

      The negative customer feedback for the 733 and 763 has been immense in recent months.

      Whilst these classic will be missed amongst us enthusiasts, customers are expectant of new era aircraft.

      You're right. While the classic will be missed it is out with the old and in with the new. Also Air NZ wants a modern fleet keeping the aircraft age low to.

    All over the place! NGJ going to Nauru Air I believe and NGI sold to a mob converting it to a freighter in Florida then who knows where to.
