This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. IUE
The island of Niue... "the Rock"
The beautiful rugged coastline... this island doesn't have beaches
Air New Zealand's Airbus 320, ZK-OJF on Niue on 30 September 2015.
The smiley face says it all. Glad to see the famous ' Prop' has survived outside the Terminal. October 21st 1970 seems a long time ago now, but what a nightstop it was. :-)

ReplyDeleteWow very cool indeed! Were there many people on the flight Steve? From memory there are only a handful of flights a week to IUE?
ReplyDeleteApparently there is a lot of interest on how many passengers are on the twice weekly flight and the word gets around... I heard 127
ReplyDeleteWas this the arrival of the first Calibration flight??? Would be very interested with a few details - Steve... westland831@gmail.com
