Busy Barrier Air
Barrier Air has had a busy day today on flights to Great Barrier Island... Today it operated 30 return flights between Auckland and Great Barrier today, 13 return between North Shore and Great Barrier, as well as a return service from Kaitaia to Auckland. They have also been using Piper PA31 Navajo ZK-MJF since yesterday afternoon.

Thats great to hear
ReplyDeleteI take it the flights planned for Thursday were disrupted due to the weather. All their IFR activity out of AKL in the morning certainly put some added pressure on the air traffic network!
ReplyDeleteIt looked as most of the Thursday flights operated... if not all
DeleteNot to mention 13 from Sunair and probably 15-20 Fly My Sky plus itinerants. Made for a busy day at Great Barrier!
ReplyDeleteWell Done!
