Back on Schedule

Golden Bay Air resumed its post-lockdown scheduled services yesterday 12 September when Gippsland Airvan ZK-ZUG flew a return Takaka-Wellington service. The airline normally shuts down the scheduled service for a month each each year to enable the longer major maintenance checks on its aircraft and this year it was scheduled from the 26th of July to the 2nd of September. Piper Seneca ZK-ZAG flew a return Takaka to Wellington service on Wednesday but it would seem this did not mark the resumption of services as the rest of the week showed services unavailable. As the summer season approaches the Golden Bay Air service ramps up to two return flights each day.
