Before the storm on Sunday 31 August 2025 I had a couple of hours in the Regional Lounge at Auckland awaiting my flight to Blenheim. With the closure of the Air NZ staff carpark it has become almost impossible to get ground shots of aircraft at Auckland airport. No delay for my departure and a smooth flight!

Sorry to be the one to report this to the group - but the carpark was closed following a close up laser strike on an aircraft. One had to ruin it for all!
