This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. With the Convair and the Saab, as well as the DC-3, is Air Chathams planning to create the best-looking turbo-prop fleet ever? Because they are going the right way about it :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the Metros...hard working as always and the Turbo Commander for the island's medivac service.
DeleteYes their fleet has now reached 12 aircraft.
DeleteYou mean 9?
DeleteSo much for there last flight on 30th July? After bit of research, KRL8 NSN-TRG on 26th July maybe last schedule service. Bye Bye Kiwi Regional Airlines! I think CVA have an open day at WAG on 31st July?
ReplyDeleteAir Chats Metro is on the KRA runs at present.
ReplyDelete26 July last service using Saab 340 NSN-TRG?
DeleteYes, saw the Metro on the KRA run. great to see a Metro in HLZ again. A strong case for Chats to take over the HLZ-NSN run. Origin is looking as well.
ReplyDeleteHas the Metro been to HLZ??? Unfortunately I am out of town today and won't see last flight to Hamilton
DeleteCIC did the run the other day
DeleteI feel sorry for ZK-KRA (yes the plane). I hope air chats gives it a longer life
