This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Hello Palmy...
From the Palmerston North Airport Facebook Page ; "Today we welcomed a trial flight, Parcelair's Boeing 737-400 freighter ZK-PAK. The aircraft will be operated into Palmerston North Airport by Freightways and New Zealand Post from early August."
The ownership at least is split 50/50 between the two former night time freight competitors. https://www.business.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/5734923/shareholdings

ReplyDeleteWhat's the tie up with Airwork and Freightways? Are they owned by airwork and operated by freightways or vice versa?

So they've joined forces to cover the freight market? What about crewing and maintenance, they're both big players in this regard aren't they?
