Sounds Air's Corporate Pilatus...

Due across the Tasman tomorrow is Sounds Air's Pilatus PC-12 ZK-PLZ in a rather surprising scheme... Flinders Aviation's Facebook page says, "Here it is! SoundsAir corporate aircraft. Full metallic Axalta finish. Heading home to NZ today. Beautiful. Thanks once again Sounds Air it's always a pleasure."

  1. Looks quite different doesn't it.. corporate sounds interesting too.? Sounds air either gowing into a new market or one of the routes not doing well to justify four aircraft... Napier to Blenheim maybe..? and the extra cost to paint it in their orange to then have a bright orange aircraft to sell..? Just remembered.. PLZ is the leased PC12 isn't it..? In that case it makes sense not painting in in a full sceme.. Be interesting to know what Sounds air long term plans are..? New routes, long-term plans on current routes, possibility to expand into other areas, next new aircraft etc.

    1. NPE-BHE doing quite well for Sounds Air according to there statement.. The route did start off slow and low demand but it grew and became popular with wine makers..

    2. Thanks for that sounding very promising. Yeah when I did check their booking website there is very rarely 3 or 4 seats left showing but guess it's not an accurate way of reading into loadings esp last minute ones.. corporate livery would suit that route

  3. A nice colour scheme... Entering the corporate hire market? An economical alternative to small jets. PC12 a perfect fit...can see it being busy.
