Just how much faster is a Mitsubishi MU2?

The Westpac Mu2 and a Sunair Aztec just took off from Hamilton bound for Gisborne... I know which I'd prefer to fly in!

  2. Very interesting didn't expect them to fly together. Is the MU2 a helicopter?

Sunair is in a sense the successor to Air Central...

    3. There are lots of Mu2's in NZ though only two flying that I know of. Bit of a shady history, I wouldn't get in one by choice, particularly at night / in icing conditions

    4. The Airforce have about half a dozen MU2s but there are only used for engineers to learn on. Dont think they ever become airborne

  5. Mu2 has a very serious job to do...
Always impressed when it scoots in over Hamilton. Those wingtip tanks give it a more impressive look.
