I've been noticing a few Sunair flights between Gisborne and Hamilton over the last few days... I was hoping this might be the precurser to them reintroducing their scheduled services...
A little research later I discovered that Air Gisborne's Piper Navajo seems to be out of the air, on maintenance I guess. Air Gisborne, in addition to doing air ambulance flights between Gisborne and Hamilton also use the Navajo to fly medical staff and patients for appointments at Waikato Hospital. These flights are not available for the general public.
So a message for Sunair... I'm missing you guys flying the Gisborne run... I hope you start it again soon!
