Out flying for the first time was Air Chathams' Saab SF340A freighter ZK-CIW. The Saab flew to Whakatāne as CHATHAMS 1 and returned to Auckland as CHATHAMS 2. ZK-CIW arrived into Auckland from Wagga Wagga and Sydney on the 16th of June 2023 as VH-KDB before being placed on the New Zealand civil aircraft register as ZK-CIW on the 21st of June 2023.

  2. CIW did a trip out here to the Chats this arvo. Loaded up and then headed back to Auckland. Left my phone at home so wasn't able to grab a photo unfortunately

  3. I noted ZK-CIW on August 7th and the only part of it's Pel Air livery that remained were the blue engine covers. Otherwise the aircraft was all white with www.airchathams.co.nz on the side of the upper fuselage and the normal Air Chatham's logo and map below the cockpit windows.
