Why do they print this Stuff???
http://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/travel-troubles/79624860/air-new-zealand-passenger-scare-when-flight-from-invercargill-diverted-for-refueling
And why is there is a picture of a 737??? They are gone from the fleet and they haven't flown to Invercargill for years
Oh that just really annoys me! That's not even an article. The author and interviewed passenger are making a big deal out of absolutely nothing!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's incomprehensible such drivel can be manufactured by the media and how a complete non event can be totally skewed with utter nonsense! Such is the world we now live in - the communication age - what a pain in the rear it is.
ReplyDeleteIt was a slow morning in regards to news in the Stuff news room
ReplyDeleteStupid glory seeking woman. Stupid Stuff for publishing such drivel, have they no self respect or integrity
ReplyDeleteThe Herald is no better - try this February 2016 Nelson disrupt story:http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11586556
ReplyDeletePerhaps the burning smell was the tires?
LOL they a picture of a 777 rather than an ATR!!!!!
DeleteStuff is Fairfax Media...Its an "on the go" amateur ie first hand witness reporting web site.
ReplyDeleteGo figure.
I like how she asked the flight attendant how much fuel was in the aircraft... like should would be able to comprehend the answer.
ReplyDeleteMy reply was:
ReplyDelete"she was boarding the 10.50am flight from Invercargill to Christchurch on Wednesday when passengers were told the plane would have to stop in Dunedin to refuel"
Misleading headline. Should have read "Plane had sufficient fuel for amended flight plan"
JaseNZ:
Stuff is making it sound like they were airbourne and didn't realise until then they didn't have enough fuel to get to CHC when they had already filed to go via DUD and collect some at the time of boarding, not departure
