This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Thanks to Josh for sending in these pics of Air Nelson's Bombardier Q300 ZK-NFB and Starship Air Ambulance, Beechcraft Super King Air ZK-SSH at Whangarei on 29 August 2017.
I watched the air ambulance landing that day from the end of 06. It was absolutely hauling and took a very short right base and was still lining up until just before touching down. I thought it might have had a medical emergency on board, but when I headed around to the terminal there was no ambulance waiting or anything so I hope not.
