Tauranga Spotting

I have had these photos to post for a while, all taken at Tauranga on 26 July 2020.
A bitterly cold wind but good company with Mark and Warwick also plane spotting
In my book Tauranga is the best airport in NZ for plane spotting.

  2. Thanks Rory... pretty average but good to see some flying going on. They have changed the Blogger platform and have made some really stupid changes... it is going to take a while to get used to it but I like the larger photos with the post.

  3. Tauranga also has one of the widest varieties of aircraft activity in New Zealand. Where else can you witness alongside Air New Zealand's potentially busy schedule such things as parachuting, gliding, gyrocopters summer DC-3 scenic flying and other forms of general aviation including vintage aircraft. Not to mention fairly regular Hercules and Orion circuit bashing.
