In the air today, for the first time in a few years, was BAe Jetstream 32 ZK-ECJ, flying from Paraparaumu, where it has been in storage, to Palmerston North. It looks like it will get a makeover in Palmerston North for service with Originair.
This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. So this solves where they are getting their 3rd aircraft from. Hopefully it won't be too much work to get it back into service.

ReplyDeleteECI now sits in the main hangar at PPQ. Could also be making a return to the skies for OriginAir. Time will tell!
DeleteSo they have 4 painted in their livery. But not all airworthy at the moment.
