The 3rd Jetstream IS ZK-ECJ

In the air today, for the first time in a few years, was BAe Jetstream 32 ZK-ECJ, flying from Paraparaumu, where it has been in storage, to Palmerston North. It looks like it will get a makeover in Palmerston North for service with Originair.

  1. So this solves where they are getting their 3rd aircraft from. Hopefully it won't be too much work to get it back into service.

  2. It will be just like a new one... a new "old" plane for them

  3. What happened to ECI?

    1. ECI now sits in the main hangar at PPQ. Could also be making a return to the skies for OriginAir. Time will tell!

  4. So they have 4 painted in their livery. But not all airworthy at the moment.

  5. ECJ will be number 3... As Jordan wrote above ECI now sits in the main hangar at PPQ. Whether it is for spare parts or getting it airworthy remains to be seen

  6. Perhaps they will expand services in the future. Even return back to NPL and NPE.
Have noticed there is no flying on Saturdays in their schedules. Might be a off day for all staff.
