| Thanks to Gary from Originair who sent this photo of the two Originair Jetstreams facing off at Nelson today. ZK-JSH is a Jetstream 31 and ZK-ECI is a Jetstream 32. Originair flies from Nelson to both New Plymouth and Palmerston North. The Jetstreams are also currently operating air2there's service from Paraparaumu to both Blenheim and Nelson |
This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. I am curious, what is the tie up between Originair and air2there.

DeleteOrigin should just change their name to Air2There as they seemed to have been taken over by Air2There. The other leased Jetstream 32 is in the Air2There hanger at Kapiti Coast Airport.
ReplyDeleteThey operate under Air2There's AOC which is why they seem to have been taken over. This is how Origin Air has operated ever since having been founded in 2015, having been through 1 or 2 operators already.
DeleteIf you look at Wikipedia and Air2there it’s says they Operate 7 aircraft including 3 Jetstreams under the Origin Banner. So who’s tail is wagging what dog. My observation would be that Air2 there have taken over the whole Origin operation.
