This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. First a tail view... now the whole aircraft...
Thanks to Peter who caught the new Air Chathams' ATR 72-500 ZK-MCO at Nelson today...
After their intense competition in the 90's, I never thought I'd see a Mt Cook aircraft in Chathams colours

DeleteEx Mt Cook.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean ex Mt Cook?
DeleteZK-MCO was used by Mount Cook Airlines previously. That is what he means. Hopefully Air Chathams will put their name on it shortly as well.
ReplyDeleteTheres a operated by air chathams limited sticker by the entrance door by looks of it
DeleteThat is indeed correct
DeleteMRC Aviation report that Chathams has won the contract for Tauck Tours previously operated by Alliance and it's going to be used for that.
