A tale of frustration

Do you get annoyed when the computer platforms we use suddenly get changed... And then trying to get thing changed back is just impossible when the feedback disappears into cyberspace.

This blogger platform is okay but I get frustrated with its editing function in regards to format...

But now it is the blog header photo that has me frustrated. Each month I change the photo... One month it is a current airline, the next one from the past.

Getting the photo size right was relatively straight forward and the platform adjusted it to the desired width of 1050 pixels... So this is this months photo, or rather what it should look like with a width of 1050 pixels... The image of the aircraft is crisp and clear

Unfortunately the Blogger/Blogspot reduces it to a width of 512 pixels and it looks like this, pixelated and blurred.

I have tried all sorts of things to sort this to no avail. So frustrating... Any ideas how I can fix this to those who are more techno than me???

UPDATE

A FIX NOW FOUND... A BIT FIDDLY BUT IT WORKS!

  1. Perhaps you can pass on the fix to the NZ CivAir team - they've got what's probably a lovely picture of ZK-AQZ as the header but it's suffered the same fate.
