Air Trading Partners is delighted to advise we have been mandated to remarket 1 x 1993 Saab 340B passenger aircraft.
ZK-CIZ is currently undergoing a C-check and subsequently a significant portion of heavy work will be cleared, with no major airframe work required for 3,000 cycles, 4,000 hours or 4 years.
The current owners have upgraded the GPS system to meet RNP1 requirements and ADSB Out. The aircraft also has an inbuilt Satellite Phone routed through the Garmin GPS system.
The cabin has been modified to a more standard 34 seat configuration with forward lavatory and larger luggage compartment at the rear.
ZK-CIZ was registered to Air Chathams on 24th of January 2018 and entered service with the airline on the 7th of April 2018, its first flights being 3C 702 from Auckland to Whanganui and the return flight 3C 711.

Previously the Saab had operated with Vincent Aviation and was on the New Zealand civil aviation register as ZK-VAB from the 22nd of March 2011 to the 10th of June 2013.
Sad to see CIZ up for sale i take ZK-CIT is her replacement ?

ReplyDeleteSelling the better performing (B Model has more giddy up) types and reducing schedules all points to one thing ; they are broke. To say it’s to free up cash to bring in a new type (73CL) is an oxymoron as it’s an absolute antique.
