New Hangar for Golden Bay Air

Takaka's Golden Bay Air has applied to the Tasman District Council to construct a new hangar at the Takaka airport as preparations are made for the delivery of their Piper Seneca. Interestingly, in their submissions for approval, the airline noted that over 85% of their passengers are local, or connected to locals. I would have thought the Heaphy Track would have generated more traffic.
