This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Fleet increase for Fiji Airways
Fiji Airways plans to expand its fleet size with the purchase of four new aircraft, including one A330-200, two B737-800s and two ATR72-600s by 2017. The additional aircraft will support the airline’s plans to grow the number of available seats across all markets by more than a third and an increase in its passenger numbers by approximately 40% over the next five years. Propose capacity increases across the regions include Asia, Pacific Islands, New Zealand and Australia.
