This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Boeing 787 Dreamliner Comparison...
I was wondering what the difference was between the Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9... The extra length of the -9 is evident in these photos... The Air New Zealand 787-9 has a length of 62.8 m as compared to the 56.7 metres of the China Southern and Jetstar 787-8s.

the first model is known for spontaneous fires, the next model has yet to have it happen
