A work colleague leant me a copy of Guy Clapshaw's Tasman Echo Alpha to read over the summer break... What a GREAT READ as it traces Guy's arrival in New Zealand flying as a co-pilot for TEAL on the Electras, having a stint in Samoa flying for Polynesian Airlines (I always wondered why Air NZ flew into Pago-Pago) and then as a DC-8 pilot... and it also reveals how close Air New Zealand came to buying Tristars... A really entertaining and engaging read!
Since when did you get time for a summer break??!!
ReplyDeleteA told the one who loaned me the book... "I won't have time to read it" and then couldn't put it down
