Last evening (15 December 2019) I flew down on New Zealand's longest domestic flight, NZ699 from Auckland to Invercargill made possible by the cheap fares when the service started... Unfortunately the weather was lousy...
Off into the murk from Auckland's Runway 23 |
Yep - there's a lot of cloud out there |
But up top there was sunshine |
One of the South Island hydro lakes I think... anyone recognise it??? |
Wyndham |
A glimpse out to Foveaux Strait |
Bluff Hill |
Dog Island in the distance |
Approach into Invercargill |
Overnighting for the Christchurch service in the morning |
Airbridge Invercargill |
My only photo opportunity of my ride, Airbus 320 ZK-OXJ |
