This blog started off by focussing on NZ's smaller 3rd level airlines, past and present. It has evolved to trying to present some record of NZ's domestic airline operations and some of the larger charter operators, interesting NZ international airliner movements and photos I have taken around the country. Pacific Pic #3
Beech Super King Air DQ-FDS operated by Fiji Air. I wonder what they used it for?
Primarily used to fly from Nausori to Funafutii atoll in Tuvalu. 575 miles north. Also used to fly to Rotuma approx 360 miles to the Northwest of Nausori. It was leased for two years from Norfolk Island airlines and was replaced in 1984 by a Cessna 404.
Would that be DQ-FDS ;-P
