Barrier Air's Cessna 208B Grand Caravan ZK-SDB entered service on 11 August 2015 with it flying from Auckland to Kaitaia and return. It was then noted the following day flying to Great Barrier Island. The photos, from the Barrier Air Facebook page show the flight from Auckland to Kaitaia
And finally Noel Jones caught this great photo of the Caravan on approach on 11 August 2015
Do you know if they got the IFR sign off? Apparently VFR only
ReplyDeleteI suspect VFR only... it hasn't appeared on Flightaware
DeleteEspecially with the big 'GPS FOR VFR USE ONLY' sticker in the 5th photo
DeleteProbably not with all that gear in it. They must have got rid of their 125 certificate with the trilanders as SEIFR in NZ is P125.
ReplyDeleteThanks Noel nice sharp shot .
ReplyDeleteThere is a requirement to be able to demonstrate compliance over a period of time with the maintenance and operational specifications of SEIFR prior to the approval.
