Another Cessna Grand Caravan on the way

This from Milford Sounds Scenic Flights' Facebook page...

Exciting news! Very soon, we will have a new Caravan that will join our fleet. The aircraft will be flown over from the USA to our base here in Queenstown NZ. Fully equipped with 13 comfortable leather seats, each passenger will have a window for excellent scenic viewing on the flight to Milford Sound.

The Cessna Grand Caravan has departed Oklahoma City and landed in California. Next stop, Hawaii

  1. It had a nice paint job until they slapped the navy blue and red tail fleet paint scheme on it! But it will be a great addition nonetheless.

I know that a certain skydiving company in Australia has been looking at purchasing their oldest C208...

  2. First Time I've seen one without a baggage hold below - looks an entirely different plane, vaguely reminiscent of the flying pencils...

  3. You could almost open a ZQN - IVC route with this aircraft.

  4. I struggle to see any demand for that route. Also struggling to see how Kiwis ZQN - DUD route will get off the ground permanently.
